The Lady and The Woodpecker offers hand-made one-of-a-kind creations which are great for gift giving or to treat yourself.

Yvonne (the Lady of this duo) is a self-taught painter, preferring acrylics as her medium and wood surfaces as her canvas.   Each painting provides unique texture and movement dependant on the type of wood being used.   Often the piece of wood will inspire the scene (rural landscapes, lake-life, sunsets, or wildlife).  Yvonne also enjoys creating hand-painted signs or sayings for the cabin, man/she caves, garages, bar area, and patios.

Darren (The Woodpecker) is continually experimenting.   The cutting boards, prep boards, and bread boards are beautiful enough to display in your kitchen, but they truly are meant to be used, don’t be afraid to cut on them.  It’s wood!   After years of use, do a light sand, and rub on food grade mineral oil; you’ll be good for another few years. 

Darren also builds serving trays of varying sizes, keepsake/memory boxes, wall art, wooden toys (for all ages), canes, and decorative wood-framed mirrors.   The use of epoxy resin enhances the beauty of his charcuteries, shooter trays, chess/checker and cribbage boards.
